  • Verify identity and process deposits, withdrawals, loans, and repayments.
  • Maintain accurate accounting, audit, reconciliation, and transaction records.
  • Send transaction confirmations, service-fee reminders, security alerts, and administrative notices.
  • Prevent fraud, protect the system, investigate disputes, and meet legal obligations.

3. Sharing information

We may share necessary information with authorized payment providers such as PesaJet, mobile-money operators, banks, email and hosting providers, auditors, regulators, legal advisers, or law-enforcement authorities where required or permitted by law. We do not sell member personal information.

We use reasonable safeguards including passwords, access controls, audit logs, secure connections, transaction verification, and role-based administration. Records are retained for as long as necessary to provide services, meet legal and accounting duties, prevent fraud, and resolve disputes.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or information about the use of your personal data. Requests should be sent to the official SACCO privacy or support contact. Some records may need to be retained to satisfy legal, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.
