Terms and Conditions
Effective date: 17 September 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of the KYUESA SACCO member portal, savings wallet, deposits, withdrawals, loans, notifications, and payment services. By registering for or using the system, you agree to these Terms, the SACCO by-laws, and applicable law.
2. Membership and account information
You must provide accurate information, keep your contact details current, and use only your own account. We may suspend or close an account where information is false, fraudulent, or inconsistent with membership requirements.
3. Account security
You are responsible for protecting your password, verification codes, phone, and email account. Do not share your password or mobile-money PIN. Report suspected unauthorized access, fraud, or loss of your phone immediately.
4. Payments and PesaJet transactions
When you authorize a mobile-money prompt, the payment may complete even if you close the SACCO page. The SACCO uses provider confirmations and webhooks to update the final transaction status. Do not submit a duplicate payment while the original is pending.
Pending, successful, failed, cancelled, and expired statuses reflect the information available from the provider and the SACCO’s records. Provider, mobile-network, bank, or internet delays may affect processing time.
5. Wallets, withdrawals, and loans
Wallet balances are based on confirmed deposits, withdrawals, reversals, fees, and approved accounting entries. Withdrawals are subject to available funds, verification, approval, provider availability, and SACCO rules. Loan applications are not guaranteed to be approved and approved loans must be repaid according to their schedules.
6. Monthly service fee
Where enabled, the monthly service fee supports SACCO system maintenance, account balancing and financial administration, and PesaJet and other payment-provider charges. The fee is applied only when the configured account status, membership age, minimum balance, and approval requirements are met. Members receive advance notice where an email address is available.
7. Acceptable use
You must not use the system for unlawful activity, fraud, unauthorized transactions, malicious code, unauthorized access, security testing without permission, or interference with system availability. We may suspend access and investigate suspected violations.
8. Errors and reversals
Do not spend funds credited by mistake. The SACCO may investigate, correct, reverse, or recover duplicate, fraudulent, incorrectly posted, or unsettled transactions and will notify affected members where appropriate.
9. Availability and third parties
We take reasonable steps to keep the system available, but uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. PesaJet, mobile networks, email providers, banks, hosting providers, and other third parties may have separate terms, fees, outages, and processing times.
10. Complaints and changes
Send complaints with your member details, transaction reference, date, amount, and supporting evidence to the official SACCO support contact. We may update these Terms to reflect changes in law, services, fees, providers, or system functionality.
11. Governing law
These Terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Uganda, subject to the SACCO’s registered rules and applicable requirements.
12. Contact
Contact the SACCO through the official email address, telephone number, or office published by KYUESA SACCO.
